Focus on sustainability and recycling: GROLMAN
Founded in 1855, Grolman Group is a privately-owned European distributor and leader in specialty chemicals.
Offering a varied and complementary product portfolio, its success is based on a strong dedication and commitment to building an efficient organization, focused on customers and their needs.
With over 200 employees and a presence in more than 43 countries, Grolman Group, currently Ecovadis PLATINIUM certified, is announcing ambitious actions to combat climate change and is committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions to achieve "net zero" by 2050.
The "Net Zero" target has been approved and published by SBTi, a consortium that sets the highest standards for science-based climate targets.
Grolman Group was the first SME in the world's chemical industry to be approved, in June 2022.
This commitment is aligned with the Paris Agreement's most ambitious target, to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C.
How can we achieve this ambitious goal?
Grolman Group is betting on the circular economy to achieve this "Net Zero" objective by 2050.
The circular economy is a regenerative system in which resource use, waste production, emissions and energy waste are reduced to a minimum, while closing energy and material cycles.
The concrete solutions envisaged to achieve this goal are based on :
close collaboration with our partner suppliers, to work together on circular solutions
The constant search for new recycled, renewable and bio-sourced raw materials...
Logistics transition
Listening to real, current market needs...
By combining the objectives approved by SBTi and the transparency provided by Ecovadis, Grolman Group's approach is both genuine and sincere.
